Adbri – documenting a major upgrade to the Birkenhead Plant

Over 25 million Australians benefit from Adbri’s high quality local construction materials. Essential to this, is having a well-maintained plant that is not only efficient but has the highest performing environmental controls. The 2021 annual shutdown was longer than usual and spanned 40 days to undertake maintenance, replace major sections of the kiln’s shell and install a tertiary air system.

Alpha State were invited to document this enormous undertaking which included multiple film production and drone footage combined with leading edge time lapse video production. Special thanks to the crew at 2OC for the assistance throughout this shoot.
